The lovely Congicus

Yes. You still need a DSLR to get these kind of shots.
Been experimenting with it myself, been getting so lucky so far! only one shot like yours though!.

Thanks. The Jardini is a very interesting fish to observe. I am a bit nervous about how it will be towards my Polypterus but so far no problems. I hope that if it turns against them that i will have time to move the Jardini before it is too late
I think it will be pretty mild, very different body shapes and not in the aros face. must be awesome to watch!

Congicus looking great! Nice jardini. Jardini should be fine with the bichirs. I've never had a problem with jardinis and bichirs.

It is awesome. I have the same feeling. it will leave them alone, it doesn't see an enemy in them.

With DSLR i am mostly using prime lenses(no zoom lenses) for these shots. They give better contrast and better sharpness. These last shots are taken with a 300 mm. lens. sitting 10 feet away from the tank :-).

That's interesting and pretty cool. I used a 17-55mm lens right up against the tank pretty much, my dad is teaching me :)

I got a photo with the jaws entirely extended which I'm really happy about
