Yes, it would! My brothers are Philly eagle fans too.Yeah...that'd be cool.
Maybe hopefully we will be able to meet and have a drink.

Nice!!! I think a nice school of redhooks looks great in any aquarium, especially when the lights are on. You see those big silvery gold scales and that deep red coloration on their hooks and as they mature they get brilliant orange coloration, mostly the males but the females can too. That'd be nice.
I picked up two more red hooks today to add to my group.

Good info and one thing that disappoints me about red hooks is that their entire hook fin does not turn red....or does it?Nice!!! Color varies by each fish but they generally look like this:
They all get orange spots by varies by fish..
the first pic is my oldest redhook who passed away last year he was 4 years old.
The last picture shows even ones who don't get deep orange, still get some orange/red spots. they are gorgeous fish.

It does. In some species, the red can fade with age, but I haven't experienced that. I have fed and fine mine now Krill, market shrimp, and other goodies to keep their color. I'm hoping I can get my widebars orange. They look like pacu when orange the wide bar silverdollars.Good info and one thing that disappoints me about red hooks is that their entire hook fin does not turn red....or does it?
That one in the last photo has a pretty long hook.
The shop I was at earlier also had a bunch of young albino pacu.It does. In some species, the red can fade with age, but I haven't experienced that.
