20 yrs jailtime is a little harsh. He didn't hurt anyone. It's good they keep an eye out for such things, but I hope he gets ff easy.
I doubt Valencia will see any more jail time over this.He will likely have to fork over more cash though by way of a fine.

If it were allowed to keep exotic animals as a pet, I would want to keep racoon. but first they would have to be captive raised. Not happening.
Apparently their wild instinct catches them on after a while and they don't want to be kept indoors any longer

That actually makes them a pretty good pet.You won't have to put up them funking up your home with their urine and excrement and the chore of cage cleaning as it would live outside and likely nearby.All you would need to do is place food for it outside and observe when it shows up to feed.
