Yeah,it seems the tiger belonged to an entertainment company and it had somehow escaped while it was being transported.
I feel bad for the family whose dog got attacked.
Totally different story but same result, I have a personal friend of mine for 10 yrs, who has a very nice basset hound named Cleo and he took him for a walk one day. All of a sudden, a pitt bull charges at him and attacks Cleo, biting his back and ear. My friend pulled out his shot gun and shot the pit-bull four times killing him. The pit-bull would not let go.
The basset hound lived, but the poor guy has had to go through so much pain, but thank god for the awesome vet he is totally fine.
The owners of the pit-bulls (most likely thugs) want to sue my friend for Quote on Quote '' KILLING'' their dog for no reason... Well, idiots, if you were so worried about your pittbull being killed, you would have been out there stopping him. My friend has to go through all this legal crap because people who can't handle animals get put in situations they don't belong. My friend was emotional this morning because he didn't want to kill the pitt, but I talked to him. I told him he was 100 percent in the right. There would have been NO better outcome. He would have most likely killed Cleo and then attacked you. You made the right decision and I told him I am supportive of his decision and will help if he does get sued and in any legal trouble because these ignorant punks couldn't handle their pitt and raised it to be mean.
Sorry, for the rant...
It is such a coincidence

How exactly did the attack happen;was either of the dogs on a leash, did it occur on public or private property?
I am no lawyer but it sounds as if the owners of the pit bull will not be successful if they go forward with any legal action.

Cleo was leashed. The pitt bull was not, he was free roaming around the front yard. The gate was wide open. I guess he saw my friend Matt and Cleo walking by and he ran and attacked. I wasn't there to witness it, but his description to me made it sound like he didn't see it coming. It was on the road I assume.
Yea, I say the same. Pitts have a bad rep here, thousands of them are already in our MSPCA.

Same here and they used to automatically put down all pitts that were brought in but they have gotten away from that a little. They now try to rehome any pitts that can be.
