How old bleheri can be breed?
In tropical aquarium i hv put diy chikker, and i can make my tank 23-25°c, is can be breed bleheri?

Thanks in advance

I don't think it's possible to tell what sex they are until they approach maturity. To get a pair, you would need to keep a group of around 6 together from a young age and hope you end up with a pair. They would require a cooler period of around 19°c to simulate winter if you would like them to breed. Keeping summer temperatures at around 25°c. I think native temperatures are from 14°c - 28°c.
Males grow a bit larger than females. In my experience, one gender is more orange in colour and the other is more blue /green, I can't remember which way around it is now. I'm sure someone else can tell you more

Did u have a pict of top view bleheri, i hv id my auranti at 15cm with top view, 20 auranti and i only missed 2, so 18 is successful id from baby size

U can not tell difference by head at young age , as mentioned above u should keep a group of six to find a pair , that's the only sure way , specially belehri r hard to sex even at adult stage ,

How to go adult on bleheri? The old or the long? And how old to id?

From what i remember from when I kept them, at about 4-5 inches is about maturity. They will thicken out at around that size too and you should see some difference in colour. As they grow together, the bigger ones usually tend to be male, but that's not a reliable way of sexing the fish.

My fish has 10-12cm (4-5inc) but nothing different

Bleheri are very difficult to sex , Males do tend to be larger , there heads will be larger as well in ratio to their bodies they have the real "snakehead look" females have more of a rounded head and more proportionate to their body. Their are some color difference, but you'll only really notice it during breeding season and the colors can swing drastically depending on health or mood.

Keep in mind the health and stress levels of the fish will determine how accurate those difference are, underweight or over weight fish will make it very hard to see the body shape difference, stressed animals will be washed out and hide dorsal fins, etc.

Also to reinforce the other point made earlier Bleheri are NOT tropical fish, they will not pair up or breed at those temps and will die in roughly a years time if kept too warm.

Bleheri will do best in temps from 18-21 in the summer, below 15c in the winter. they can tolerate min -high 20's for short periods of time only. If you cannot maintain those temps i'd recommend getting different species.

cheers

Wtf tht temp, my bleheri breed captive Singapore, i think singapore is warm, but if my bleheri need cold i can push up to 22, my tank temp range is 22-26°, and i read on seriously fish, tht range is 14-28, so wht i must do, still push tht temp?

If temperatures stay high at 22+, your bleheri are going to get sick, starve themselves, and eventually die.
