The end of an era...

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Thanks everyone!

Wow didnt know they grew alot since the last time ive seen them in a video.

Yeah, everyone has grown. The ropes only put on maybe 2 inches since I got them but they are definitely chunkier. Especially the female.

It's funny to look at the Teug when I first got her! She's at the top of the tank in this pic. :)
This is in April. Grew an inch per month - every other day feeding schedule.

magpie magpie sorry it's so short. I'll get better promise!
The ropes look like they are having a great time! Your tank Looks like something out of a museum/aquarium. I love the background you made. You and Mags set the bar really high. Which is a good thing! Going to go back to your build thread and the noodle thread to get some ideas to make my tank more interesting for me and the fish.

Here's a long video of Soba, Macaroni, and Congo tetras (noodle crew) and my team having fun post-feeding.
Piggie smalls aka Pinky, looks like a blimp. Congo tetras and danios make a lot of pretty photo bombs.

Thank you.
Awesome! They look so happy. I'm glad its working out! Those are all good looking fish, and your tank looks good nice and clean. I don't think you need to change up anything. The vale will all grow in as to will the swords. If I did anything maybe add a branch of driftwood something like I have attached to the back in my tank but just coming in from the top of your tank. Kinda like Polyaddict86 Polyaddict86 had in his tank. But really I think it looks good like that.

Awww, LOVE the videos! Thanks guys! Makes me really happy to see everyone swimming around.

So clm08k clm08k - I see Charlie Manson is gone - is he in the QT for misbehaving or did the new owner pick him up?

Started nipping at Soba’s underbelly. I didn’t want to take any chances.

I was just curious because so many people say when there's aggression - add more Polys. And I really don't think that that is the solution for all fish. Some are just inherently aggressive (like my Palmas). But for a second there I thought maybe it worked in your case.

I've seen the difference, also. The Palmas that I had that was really aggressive would take chunks out of Udon. The Teug that was nipping at Polli really was just nipping and not causing any real damage. That had actually improved recently, too. I think that in that case adding more Polys or switching things around could help. But with the fish like my Palmas or your Moke, not so much.

Manson was meant to be a one-poly poly. ;)
