Suggestions with nutrient absorbing plants for my pond.

i tried water hyacinth, it just melted in my pond.

thanks problem with Elodea is it might block my ponds bottom drain or go into my filter chambers

That's no good! You have to try aquaponics haha, or some people make a "bog" filter which is like a gravel bed with lots of plants in like bamboos or whatever that'll help polish the water

i had Indian fern before and they went out of control in my pond, but when i trimmed them they seem to have melted. now i have same setup but with frogbits.

Lotus in sides or maybe a lipstick palm in shallow water

try water cress, will clean your pond and its good to eat.
