How many Severums in a 350g aquarium?

20-30 is probably more reasonable when they are full sized in order to not look cramped. I would say since you have the fish already, try adding 20, see how it looks, add a few more, etc. till the tank is filled out. Hard for me to say without seeing how much space they have.

The tanks hard scape is going to be 3 good sized, vertical pieces of driftwood, surrounded by rock caves and the crypts at their bases, and then most of the tank will end up as open swimming space, approx 250-300 of the 350 gallon total.

If I may, based on what's been said so far..

The scape plan sounds really nice, simple yet sweet.

As for the fishies if I were in your shoes I'd go with almost entirely black angelfish, and two or three white or marbled ones just to break up the black a bit, or reverse it and go mostly white with a few black, both would look cool.

I'd choose plecos with bright oranges and/or reds on them, not sure which ones I'd go with but that would be my starting point when looking for ideas.

Then the fire eel and bgk would top it all off.

That's my thoughts on the situation.

I was actually thinking of doing something very similar! Just black angels and a handful of platinums!
