I did get 6 Red Hooks and they were all about 3". Now they are about 5-6" and I have noticed they seem to be getting pretty beat up looking. I don't see them fight but it could be happening at night. A couple have very nipped fins and some look picked on they're body. I will try and get some pics.

It sure looks like something is laying into them,do you have any nocturnal fish in there that might be nipping at them?

It is just the six Red Hooks. I am wondering about the rock I have in there. Maybe they are darting into it?? It is the fake rock, but maybe a little abrasive? I am thinking of taking it out tomorrow when I do a water change. Tank is 100 gallon.

Just my opinion - The rocks may not be helping and they could be partly responsible for some of the 'wounds' or scratches on the side of the fish. However, I doubt the rocks would explain the nips on the fins at all. Thus I think some nipping is going on.
