Nice growth wouldn't recommend measuring it that way the AFT was stressed afterwards.

I personally would give an estimated measurement.
It could have stayed in the net as you layed it down beside the tape and then you return it to the water as quickly as possible.
X2 estimate or leave a tape measure across the bottom of your tank so that you can see at a glance whenever he slows down. Beautiful fish though.
They don't handle stress well at all. I lost my vatf moving it from one tank to another. It was fine that night after the move and belly up the next morning.
The net is actually nylon and is pretty rough, didn’t want him damaging his eyes.
