My grandmother liked to say that too much tv watching would turn your brain into mashed potatoes.

It's on every show. The only thing to do is either shut the tv off or find an oldies tv show. I lost two oldies channels when my wife switched providers.

There's Netflix, Hulu, lightbox, CBS, easily a dozen other streaming services, then there are of course torrents. I guess if you want to watch Matlock your only option might be cable or OTA TV, but I'd call that nearly obsolete. I haven't watched actual broadcast TV in years.
