Just a few more shots of some of them now that they are in the tank...
They are grazers by nature so will eat algae but with Crystal Reds and more expensive species its best to supplement with other food sources for best health...
That was quick... already spotted at min. 4-5 berried females in the tank... should be interesting to see what the offspring turn out like...
Atm im testing out a new food from a local store which seems to work really well...
But there are a range of specialized shrimp foods or you could use certain blanched organic veggies if you want to go that route...
As for feeding, im giving them one pellet of the new food every 3 days coz i have close to 60 shrimp in the tank...
