If your going with siphon drains at 1.5 then your 1 1 inch e drain will be useless. It wont handle the flow in the event the siphons clog.
Figure out what gph your pump is going to be putting out then size the E drain to it. The siphons will follow suit since they will move much more water but will be regulated with the gate valve. I iver did my e drains but i had the space to do so..i went with 2 x2 inch e drains knowing that i would never go anywhere near that gph

My target turn over rate to be 6-8 times of 180. So that’s 1440 gph. From chart I just one 1.5 drain or I can do two 1.25 drain equal to 2000gpg. Than 1 x 1” emergency drain. I got a DC pump so I can dial it to what ever setting I wish. Am I right??
You can or you can still use the 1.5 inch drains since either way you will be using rhe gate valve to match the flow to your pumps settings. That kind of why i asked if you were going with one ovrr flow or two. I dont think there is one way to do it. Just preference. Two overflows take up more space but allow for more surface skimming. The e drain at 1 inch wonr be able to handle the flow.
With over flow box. Can I skip that and use a 90 turned upward and weirs on the fitting or I’m going to do a 2ft coaste to coaste. With my turn over rate @ 8 times. 1440gph. My target gravity feed drain what is my minimum size before I need to put double draining? Of course I’m still going with a 1” e drain.

Lots of research and reading before I start any drilling or buying parts. First is to empty out the current stock in the 180. Thank you for the info.
i'm not sure but i want to get into herbie system since it's nice and quite compare to my 330 where there are lots of noise.. i need to research more and where is a good place to order parts like your gate valve?
