I know this isn't a dating forum, or relationship forum but I am asking for opinions in the matter. I called out of work on Thursday to catch up on stuff I was unable to do on my days off. (Tuesday and Wednesday) Tuesday I fell behind and wasn't able to do everything I needed to, and Wednesday I spent the whole day with my girlfriend as we usually do. So since I was unable to get everything done, mostly phone calls that couldn't be made on weekends as places are closed I called out. She got all upset with me saying that I was stupid and all these vulgar names and asked why I couldn't take Sunday off instead which is her other day off. I tried explaining it to her but this fight went on via text from 11:30am all the way until roughly 5pm. She said I never think of her and how things will upset her.(really?!) I got everything done and more, minus my water change by the time she got home. Was I in the wrong? What are your opinions on the matter? I told her this almost ended the relationship for the fact she is trying to control everything I do. Shes 20 and I'm 27. I'll be damned if a 20 year old will dictate my life. Thoughts? She wont know about this thread as shes not a member, nor does she own fish lol

hello; This as far as the girlfriend goes. At the very least do not get married. Problems when dating get many times worse after getting married. The good stuff becomes less.
I can't figure out what he means by "Called out" A day of sick leave, annual leave or what? I'm taking a month off to play video games, watch TV, may do a few water changes and clean the house a bit.

Actually they do, specifically your boss. Well, here, more specifically the doctor that he can demand you go to and get a certificate stating that you were too sick to come to work.
