I did! I didn’t want to use too much of it cause I was afraid it would be bad for the polys...but it knocked the hair algae right out!Did you try seachem excel ? Supposed to be good for algae
They were definitely melted. thats for sure. ThAts awesome that you were able to save them and bring them back to life.Crypts can go through a thing they call crypt melt. Sometimes they can rebound sometimes not. Sounds like what happened. I've got some fighting back from it now.
2 24/7s are finnex led lights. 24/7planted+ pretty nice lights but not super high end or super high priced.
Gotta lower it looks a little in midsHere’s some water change data: water samples were taken every day. I feed everybody every other day. Alternating between pellets(hikari carnivore and NLS) and tilapia/catfish. Ie pellets Tuesday, Wednesday fast, Thursday fish.

I’ve heard the finnex lights are good. Your lighting looks great. You only have 3 lights on the tank? Wow! Can’t believe that.
That’s cool that the ones you found are higher lemons. Do you like the LED? How do you figure out how much light you need?Yeah well haven't made a complete come back yet......someone keeps digging them up.
I just switched my lights again. T5 ho led retro fits. I have a ton of t5 ballasts and end caps and reflectors that when I found good looking t5 led replacements I couldn't pass it up. They use 13 watts each for the 36" ones and put out more lumins and a higher par rating then t5 ho florescents. I've put 4 bulbs over it for now. We will see if that's enough.
Not sure on anacharis I think you can. Again on the lights I'm not real sure as the watts per gallon really doesnt work, especially with led. I don't have a par meter so I'm just going to wing it. See how the plants do I guess. Thanks everybody. The nitrates are a lot higher than I’d like. I am doing 75% WC every 5 days. Also got some more plants to hopefully help and hoping these won’t die.
P.s. for anacharis can I bury it? Any advice on how long to leave the lights on for? And any advice on how much light I need to correctly light my tank?
