My guess would be availability maybe. My LFS is The Wet Spot, so it being a big online retailer as well means it can carry more exotics and get them sold off.

Jexnell , your wc Oscar has inspired me to contact Wet Spot to see if they have any left in stock. I miss my Bumble Bee Oscar I used to have and decided it was time for another Oscar in my tank.
