I have lived in and out of FL for my work. What amazes me is for years I had fish you couldn't keep until I researched it. Like Snakeheads. Oh, so I can't keep something I can go swim with in my back yard? I can catch them anywhere, but I can't even transport one alive? I netted a bunch of fry once and was like hmmmmmm... I guess I must kill all of them.

Yeah makes a lot of sense.
Yes the Silver aro. I could keep him, but no black, blue, etc.... Yes very intelligent minds are behind all this. No ATF, but you can keep any Vampire!! I think anything should be available with permit. They would make $. You are responsible for what you have and strict and hefty fines/consequences are enforced if you do not abide. They can come and inspect at anytime and any death must be recorded etc. I wouldn't buy the "people let them go" thing anymore. It's like guns. The bad people will have them and maybe do bad things regardless of all the bans and rules/regs. Law abiding people should not be held responsible and suffer for all the bad ones. WOW I shouldn't have given that as an example!! Apologies to any anti G people. We need the people in power to start thinking outside the box and treat things in a manner that makes sense. Again, people who will release fish I to the wild will get the fish and release them at will no matter what the law says. Good people like probably 99% on here would not. We get punished for others whom have no respect for anything or anyone but themselves.
In OH I don't have to worry about any of that. When I lived in KY Piranhas were illegal and I assume other things were also.
I love Florida. I was born there. I liked KY a lot. OH is least favorite, but at least I can do what I want with fish keeping... at least I think lol, I better go check the more recent rules now.
