Florida gar last one eyeball! Help!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Seriously thank u so much for confirming. It's been a disaster after a disaster. Today I came home to a nasty smell in thr basement. The smell of death. I see my 10 gallon where I kept the FH and minnows and the water was cloudy as hell and all fish were dead. The only spare heater I had was like 400 watts and i put it on a timer so it wouldn't over heat but i missed up. 90 something degrees. Disgusting smell.
All good bro here to help hope things gets better 4 you **** does snowball

I have a final English essay due at 11:55 pm requiring 3200-3400 words, and I currently have 1700 words. It is 10:31 pm, and I am dicking around here instead of doing my paper.

Seems like you got your priorities straight. Kidding. Focus on school work trust us it will pay off in the long run. I'm able to have fun with monster fish thanks to a degree.

I think it’ll be fine after a week honestly feeding it’ll get use to ASAP keep us posted
So far the gar is looking a lot better. Its swimming around however the issue is the Texas cichlid which has not displayed any aggressive behavior is not starting to poke at the gar. I can't tell if any of the fins are missing are caused by the Texas cichlid or previously from the flowerhorn.

Anyhow an executive decision needs to be made. Should I take the three inch Texas cichlid which I purchased on Black Friday from PetSmart which which I've also been trying to sell for weeks but no bites. Should I put them in a 10 gallon no heater tank With a bunch of minnows?

I was actually going to do that but then I realized my final extra heater that I had does not work anymore. So now I'm struggling with what to do. The Florida gar deserves to be left alone so it can heal but then again I do not have a extra heater and the Texas cichlid will suffer in 60 degree tank temperature.

If anyone reads this right now within the next 30 minutes please respond with what you would do. Thanks.
