Well,the White House has withdrawn it's invitation to the Philadelphia Eagles to attend a celebration of their Superbowl win.The decision was made after it was made clear that the entire team would not attend the event......kind of sucks for those players who did not kneel and would have wanted to go to the event.

Hello; So the issue is still active and ongoing. Yes this sucks for those who did the right thing.
Yes,I understand that the event was supposed to take place tomorrow but will be replaced by a ceremony that will have more of a patriotic theme.
Yeah the decision could have been made quite a while ago as opposed to mere hours before the event is scheduled to take place.
I love Trump and all but it's plain to see this had less to do with the flag and more to do with the players not liking him. NFL made a decision on how it was going to be handled Trump should move on and get our health Care system fixed already
This should of been dealt with months ago, so we can get onto more important things, like getting other countries to stop freeloading on the u.s military, and actually spend on protecting their own countries.
I heard the opposite, that the Eagles refused to go to the White House because Trump opposed the kneeling.
I love that Trump sticks up for our men and women who serve but at this point I want the president of the United States worrying about more important things he made his point now zip it and do your job. NFL Is not a public organization. Those 32 owners can decide to do what ever they please. I'm happy that the players can choose to protest in the locker and not on the field. I feel like Trump's beating a dead horse with this crap. We still have Obamacare and the boarders to deal with.
Probably true but he could have just kept his mouth shut and let the players that wanted to show up come and let this just blow over

Why is it bad for President Trump to continue and ok for the players to continue? The players have made their point have they not?
Hello; President Trump did not start this and had he quit I would still be pissed. It was not his comments that influenced me, it was the disrespect of the flag/ anthem ceremony.
