No idea on the sex but that fish looks like it going to change a lot the next couple years. Do you own the parents? I’d be curious to see what the FH looks like. Check the dorsal fin for a black blotch, possibly a female if there is one there, aside from venting it might give you an idea. Definitely not 100% accurate though. Cool fish.

I’d say it’s pretty much a crapshoot, but I’m happy to see that FH is a completely different base color, that gives the guy a pretty good spectrum of possibility. Love to see it when you grow it out.
