Bead filter back washing is super easy. Just turn the pump off. Run the blower for a little and then turn pump back on to clean then rinse and restart. With the 2 inch lines the water flows fast so back washing is much quicker on this setup than on my 1.5 inch line filter I was using before with the pool. Back washing the filter is honestly a 5 min job at most and no effort. Pup room is a work in progress my pumps that I got are loud and making all sorts of noise so I got a replacement and need to swap the one out and get the other going. Tore the whole pool setup down as well to get everything good. Stress is a lot less now with no leaking of the pool anymore.

Looks brilliant, was definitely worth the wait and the hard work!

What's the filtration like to manage that beast?

The pup / grow out room all up and running also?

If you’re in the market for quiet pumps, the Jebao DCP pumps are a pretty good option. They make an 18000 lph pump. I have two of their 8000’s on my 220 at about 60% power.

Tried those pumps even have a thread about them but overall the longevity of those pumps just does not do it for me. They would just not work well for this setup as well. Tried them and in my book not worth the money. Thanks for the idea though

Wow. I don’t even know what to say. This is one of the craziest...if not the most...massive setup I’ve ever seen anywhere. Amazing work!

Looks great Kevin!
Jealous of you guys who have cheaper electricity. Running those two Hammerheads alone would cost me ~$200/month...heating in the winter would be killer.
Out of curiosity, what's the plan for cleaning algae off of the front panel of the tank?
Waders?

It all wont be cheap, but so far I am really enjoying it a ton. Heating with a hot water drip off the hot water heater so that is cheap and better than electric
