Long time lurker and first time poster here, love the forum! We currently are finishing up stocking for our Cichlid tank and am looking for advice on if the number of fish we have are going to work for the tank long term. The stocking is as follows,
1 2 inch Electric blue jack Dempsey
1 3 inch Blue Acara
1 3 inch Red spotted gold severum
1 2 inch Rotkeil severum
3 3 inch Red Head tapajo Geophagus
5 2 inch panda Cory’s
I am pretty happy with the current stocking, and as of the last couple months there have been no issues and zero aggression so far. We were considering adding a single chocolate Cichlid, or 2 keyhole cichlids but I am willing to forgo those if we are overstocked or close to it. Filtration is 2 large sponge filters with an FX4 canister, twice weekly 30% water changes. Any advice or suggestions would be awesome, thanks in advance!
