I love fishs... but i was wondering... should i get UARU or SEVERUMS... Uaru are harder to care for but look so much better, what should i chose and I want to hear our own experiances... open to other cichlids available at my LFS... severums are abit more violent tho... use the list below and replace UARU with other fish if you like, or do tell me if you think i could handle them?
2 x Uaru Cichlid (Uaru amphiacanthoides)
2 x Vampire Shrimp (Atya gabonensis)
9 x Colombian Tetra (Hyphessobrycon columbianus)
3 x Red Striped Eartheater (Geophagus surinamensis)
4 x Keyhole Cichlid (Cleithracara maronii)
1 x Gold Laser Cory Cw010 (Corydoras sp. Cw010)
2 x Julii Cory (Corydoras julii)
4 x Bandit Cory (Corydoras metae)
3 x Sterbai Cory (Corydoras sterbai)
4 x BLACK TAIL HEMIDOUS
1 x Raphael Catfish (Platydoras costatus)

THANKS GUYS :)

I have to disagree with uaru cichlids being hard to care for. I have both severums and uarus and the uaru has been no harder to care for then my bristlenose pleco.

How old is your tank now?

The BigAls employees eye me and threaten the future of my tank ever since the past fish death, btw my fish have lost abit a color and are inhaling fast i would say... any idwa why and what to do?
Increase oxygen, maybe reduce temps

If your tank is only 2weeks old I would guess its not cycled properly to support the amount of fish you have.
I also noticed on another thread of yours that you are using bay leaves as leaf litter.
Some ornamental Bay leaves are toxic and could be poisoning your fish.
To be on the safe side, remove the leaves and start doing daily 50% water changes.

I'm all for using leaves in aquariums but I would be careful which ones you add. Some leaves are toxic when ingested and could kill your fish.
Cattappa, banana, magnolia apple, hawthorn oak and beech are all tried and tested and safe.
Indian Bay leaves are said to be safe but unless you know what species of bay you have for sure, I would remove them.
