Awesome - has he been able to breed w/ any females? I could understand if you quit trying after two losses

Keith...No. I have a limited number of female citrinellum and even less patience. He's strictly a pet from now on.

View attachment 1331595 Last one. I promise. My all time favorite Trimac photo.
Here is my bootleg version of that shot...
Would have ordinarily deleted it and I didn't get around to it then ran across this thread and Thought that pose looks familiar .... Which realistically I see this pose every day from my greedy Trimac lol.... But seriously your shots are as impressive as ever and bring out the beauty and detail like no other.....

Thank you. I’ve named specific poses. The one you shot I call a “six pack”. All six fins are visible.

Aquamojo Aquamojo i was in a LFS and saw this fish labeled as a Flowerhorn. I told the guy i felt like it was a Trimac. Is this a young Trimac?

It looks like a Trimac. It's really difficult to tell sometimes unless you know where they originated. A lot of the low grade flowerhorns look more like one parent or another. Not a FH expert, so can't tell you more than that. On top of that, the line between FH and Trimac can be so misconstrued by people that they would mistake an actual Trimac for the FH.

Your brutes definitely have me wanting a big male Trimac right now lol. As bad as I wanted a male Haitiensis, mine is 5” and now I want something else. I need more tanks!!!!!!!
