she bang into the glass so hard the the nose bone broke. I tried to keep her in a separate tank with medication to heal bit it never work. after over 2 months or so I decided to put her down and end her suffering
4 out of 11 right. And that's being charitable and giving you the space.
Are you breeding the BEP? If so, can I buy the fry you would otherwise cull? I can't afford BEP, but they are on my list of fish I want bad. BTW, what other goldies do you have? Do you have Wuan Bao or Jikin?
My most expensive fish was $17 for elephant mormyrid my channelcat ate in 30 seconds. My most expensive single LFS trip was when I stocked & planted my first 10g. $250+
I have not found a good BEP male yet but I'm hoping to have a pair settled and condition to breed by this coming spring. I dont sell the culls but I usually keep 30-50 of the best out of 1000 or so. I can send 4 or 5 your way just pay the shipping.
Other goldies are bristol shubies, oranda, panda butterflies, various color combo butterfties and blacks, broadtail ryukin, sakura ranchu, yaun bao (but i dont really like them so thinking of droping them) wakin, and izumo nankin
I have no offspring left from last yrs spawning (spring 2017). Sold all my young fish at the end of july. 2018 didn't get very many worth growing out. My pandas and red&white butterflies turned out a few good babies but they are already spoken for.
Why not? Its not like goldfish are hard to find. Every freakin pet store has them. I'm planning to do a thread with pics of some of my favorite fancies when I bring them in for the winter.
Yeah there's enough of them around, just don't have space for them!
