I will do a 50% tomorrow. He has eaten some freeze dried krill as long as the tank light is off. I tried a blue light but it made no difference.Have you tried another water change to see if it will eat again?

Yes that is what I've done. He is at least eating Krill. It's so odd though isn't it? All of a sudden a complete behavioral change. He never minded the lights before and would beg for food every time I went by the tank.If he's eating without lights then just take the canopy off, and allow ambient room light into the tank.
Yes I'll do that, thanksFeed him every other day or every 2 days. As more sedentary fish get larger they tend to eat less often.
I've tried New Life Spectrum Hex.Shield medicated food but he won't eat it so I am medicating with Aquaricure metronidazole which is the active ingredient in API General Cure even though many aquarists maintain such medication has to be eaten (Aquaricure and API say it can be added to water in the proper dosage). Was this guy ever treated for internal parasites? If not, you may want to try API General Cure in the water.
