Fat Sleeper (Jade) Goby Not Eating

Goby hadn't accepted any food for 10 days, tried a variety of different fish foods. Finally put 5 ghost shrimp in the tank and he nailed all of them immediately. So apparently his finickiness isn't from parameter issues nor illness. There's going to be no cheap way out of this I'm afraid. I wonder if he'd eat crickets.

He's shown you he won't starve himself to death. Just need to retrain him by increasing the time for ghost shrimp from 10 days to 15days to 20 days, etc., only offering what you want him to be trained on in between.

He won't eat crickets but he will eat feeder minnows so I can at least afford to feed him.

Unfortunately my Jade Gobie died from red mouth disease he most likely got from feeder minnows. Once I figured out what he was suffering from research said minnows can carry the disease. I did my best to try and save him but in the end I was unsuccessful. I will never use feeder fish again.
