Building My 50,000 Gallon Monster Mega Tank

I have not added anything new to the tank. Notable favourites that have passed on are both arapaimas (the oldest was 10 years), the wallago leerii female (24 1/2 years) and the planiceps.

damn, that's said, what would you think of getting some carp or koi?

I don't believe they have a long life in any aquarium. Watching them over the years at public aquariums I seldom saw that they lived more than 10 years.

I'm am in awe of your tanks. You have taken the hobby of fish keeping to another level.

I'm curious as to what do you do with the fish that die? Are they fed back to the population? Stuffed and mounted on a wall (for the ones you were more attached to)? Put in cold storage?
