When you're looking at videos of ATF on youtube or whatver, notice that there are only two kinds of video: vids with a whole bunch of young ATF that are in a brand new setup, and vids with one monster ATF by itself or with a handful of other fish that the ATF would not confuse for another ATF. There's a reason for this. They are not a schooling genus as adults. They school as juveniles, but quickly become territorial and intolerant of competition as they approach sexual maturity, which happens at around 12" or so, depending on species. When these changes start to take over, the cohabbed tanks always fail, and you'll only have one beat up example left. If you only start with one, you'll have one flawless example.
As for fatf, they're gnarly compared to the other species. The only ATF I've worked with that outstrips them in aggression is the brevis, which basically never finds its way into the hobby. Idk why no one wants FATF, they're easily the most rewarding pet to keep in the genus of the ones you're likely to actually find.
