YankeeJack i had a quick question not meaning to hijack your thread but say i was wanting to make my own blue gene by breeding an ebjd with one of my normal jack dempseys, how would you recommend i do this without knowing what gender they are, i have two juvenile ebjd that i rescued and plan to breed with one of my jd that just bred but after further thinking im not sure what i should do.

Get a female regular JD that is smaller than the two EBs. Put her in and see what happens. She must be smaller than the EBs.

How big are your EBs?
