Adding Water To My Aquarium

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
That is quite honestly if of the coolest things I have ever seen in an aquarium. And so dang simple. Good job. That looks incredible.
So glad you like it. Been searching for water features and came across the use of white sand in sand falls and rivers. Thought about using a blue glass plate but I wanted more shape. Also saw use of natural blue stone.

Keeping it simple worked here.

Nice growth but my bristlenose plecos were making a mess of the pond with their digging so decided to silicone the driftwood onto a sheet of glass to form a barricade for the substrate:

Siphoned out some plants & substrate and inserted the glass and new pond. Glass on top of glass...better than emptying the entire tank.

Refilled substrate using a two liter bottle, which helped prevent clouding the entire tank. Replanted and I’m quite pleased with the result...should clear up nicely. If I didn’t enjoy this so much, I’d call this work.

Looks good and very clever siliconing the DW down... no more shifting for sure...

Looks good and very clever use of the silicone to hold the DW in place...

Wow absolutely beautiful. I don’t think i can recall a picture off MFK that I would save, matter fact this would be my only picture on my phone that’s fish related
