Hard to get real good pics of him right now, you know how endli's like to just pay around so I actually had to touch him with tongs to get him out where I could get a pic or two of him up close

I still stand by captive bred. Headshape doesn't resemble wild caught imo. Displays captive bred finlets as well. Should be more obvious as it gets bigger/thicker.

Thanks. CB or WC doesn't really matter to me, but always a bonus to know. Also is it normal for Endli's to try to bury themselves in the sand? My del's & sen's have never done that, but this guy does. Numerous times today he'll go grab a gulp of air and then when he goes to the bottom he'll try to push his way under the sand.

I usually notice that behavior in stressed bichirs. Trying to hide itself.

I put a pvc tube in there for him for the time being yesterday, figured he might feel more secure in it, but he won't go near it yet.
