I would do anything within my power and skills to keep my fish healthy. I do large weekly water changes. But I'm not 25 years old anymore and the bucket thing is wearing on me. I need a decent and low cost solution for moving water away from and back to my aquarium. The tank is in my living room and I don't have the luxury of a floor drain. A small pump of some sort maybe. But what? Suggestions please!

I have a pump connected to a 50ft garden hose and works for me. I water my lawn with the dirty water. Might be able to do the same. Other option is to get a python and connect to the nearest faucet and it comes with the kit.

You could use a Python if you have a sink less than 50ft away.

The pythons are nice they come with everything you will need to hook up to a sink they come in 25ft 50ft 75ft and 100ft I believe.. I'm looking in to getting one very soon cause buckets deff stink especially if you have big tanks

Thanks guys. I have the vacuum part of the python. Didn't even know there were more pieces to it. I can see how that would help filling it. But how does that work for draining it? Also kno4te, what kind of pump do you use?
