It's just the gatf and rays? Can't wait to see him grow into this tank
Goliaths usually get more solitary the larger they are, so I do wish you luck. Might wanna try dithers with them, it'll atleast prolong the cohab by dispersing aggression. And that'd be cool if he does get a growth spurt. Usually people experience slow or fast growth, not a combination of the twoI am going to try my black arowana and tarpon as well to see if there is enough space to coexist, but we'll see. Haven't had the goliath with anyone else since he amputated the back half of the tarpon 5 or 6 years ago (tarpon fully recovered).
Goliath could really start to pack on some size. I've witnessed him eat more in the past 2 days than I have the past 2 years lol.

Wow what a fantastic tank setup u have there bud! Intoo have a big ol' gatf as well yhatth over 2 ft now. I have him in a 1500 gal fiberglass tank with a few other fish but he's the one with the teeth! Attached are a few pics of my fish. The window on it isnt huge so a few of the fish are missing...btw love ur tiger!!!!
I can imagine..most definitely worth it in the end! Keep ppposti updates on him! Not many big gatf in captivity out there. Thanks! Its was a massive amount of work building the whole tank and designing the system but entirely worth it.
Great healthy looking goliath you have there. Mine is eating an average of around 40 grams of pellets a day since moving into the large system. He's never eaten like this before so I suspect his growth rate will accelerate rapidly.
