Its funny how they mark the sen at max size 18

I’ve been looking at bichir online and several fish keeping sites have them listed around 18 inches too. I’m glad that I found this thread because I was definitely wanting something larger than what it seems these guys will actually get to

Thwre are two species of bichirs, Upper Jaws can grow to 10”-12” and LJ that can grow 18”+
There are also 3 upper jaws that can grow 18”+ which are teugelsi,weeksii and ornate.

You guys are ranting about lfs and i get it but start ordering WC fish, the nasty's that come with them can make the issues with lfs fish look like a walk in the park. Id rather qt an lfs fish over wc fish any day of the week
