I notice in one of the previous pictures you have what looks like real spiderplant(s). Do you keep them entirely submerged? For long periods of time? Take them out for periods? Do your fish bother them? I know that is a new tank, but I am wondering if you used spiderplants in your previous tank(s). That was actually 6 questions. You could probably answer them in one or two sentences. Please I would like to know.Brick is now officially 5". Body height over 2" without fins. A little over 1 inch thick. He's definitely losing that baby face...
In the ruler shot you can see his nose is at 14" and his tail is past the 9". So actually a hair over 5 inches. Future monster? Also, side by side comparisons now with Boss.

My neighbor grows and sells spiderplants and would give me starts. My tanks are planted but not my cichlid tanks as the cichlids systematicly dismantle any plants in their home tanks.
