Funny enough. I thought that this was what the thread was originally about when I first read “edibles”There’s this plant that’s becoming more and more popular, hydroponics most profitable plant. Might be able to pay for your next 10 set ups with the right grow![]()
It's not so easy. I tried cucumbers a couple of times. Unlike Pothos, they need very heavily oxygenated water around their roots, and die if Nitrate falls too low, or there isn't enough light. You might think you have a heavy bioload, but veggies need a metric ****-ton of Nitrate just to stay alive. I'v heard Basil and Mint are more tolerant and easier.
I can say you will be able to grow green onions.I want to try growing some foods in my pond this summer. If it works out the way I plan it will be very beneficial to my fish and myself.
I know I want to grow green onions, lettuce, not sure if I can do spinach, but I will if I can.
I think I can do strawberries too.
That would make sense, how about rosemary and thyme? I use those quite a bit more than basil and mint...It's not so easy. I tried cucumbers a couple of times.
