Glad it’s working out well for you.
I use them on all of my tanks. The newer models have a replacement probe that plugs in via headphone-style jack and are only $10 for replacements. I have had several probes go out, so make sure you keep a separate thermometer on the tank to double check the temp. When the probe starts going out, it causes the unit to display the wrong temp so you won’t know it’s going out unless you have a second thermometer to compare it to. I coated my most recent probes in silicone grease and they have held up much longer than the previous probes. If I ever have to replace them again, I will probably just coat the new ones in silicone and let it cure before using them.
