Man who abandoned pet fish facing animal cruelty charges

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I thought about the eviction too, yeah that sucks... but not as much as death by starvation. Only way I see this as forgivable, is if the guy had absolutely no way to get into the building, and was evicted with 0 warning.

Hello; I am old and prone to die most any time. I have no one to call on even if I just get sick for a time. Seems the PC or animal rights gang have set some new boundries. I would have given the guy a pass after all he left the tank I suppose. Maybe he just had no place to move it or not enough money ( after all you get evicted for not paying rent much of the time).

I get the new rules and have a solution to avoid jail. Kill the fish before you leave and just do not let anyone know.

He did not dump it in a stream or lake.

Getting to be having a pet has to satisfy too many folks looking over my shoulder.

Kinda reminds me of the goat on a rope story I told a while back.

Good points especially that he did not dump it into a lake or river. I think this is absolutely crazy especially since there could be allot missing from this story

Driving home yesterday I saw that a couple had been evicted and all their stuff was piled out in the street. I have met the people & they were scoundrels. I know the landlord and we are both unhappy that he rented to them.

One of the things piled out in the street was an aquarium, and I had to wonder as I drove by what had become of the fish?

I really didn't care what became of the people because they were a blight on the neighborhood.

But I would have rescued those fish and I'll bet they just flushed them.
