Oscars are a great species and if you have the space and the time highly recommendable.
I do agree with most points the guy made in the video apart from an aro and Oscar in a 210.Thats too small.
I really think the guy talks a lot of sense though to be honest.
I personally think a 180 maybe 125 minimum for an oscar. 55 to 90 is far too small.
I don't think the guy deserves to be flamed and I hope his video does raise a little awareness of what these fish need.

You had me until this....How is a 16 inch Oscar going to be fine in this tank? The depth is only 12 inches. Maybe you have never seen them that big but I've seen plenty.
I've seen it work before and it will work in most cases unless you have a very large oscar. I've seen them upwards of 18 inches, but I had one in a 55 and he hit 14 inches and was fine, it wasn't ideal, but it still did work. That's why I said a 55 gallon will work, but a 90 would be perfect. A lot of sources say 55 is minimum, though I would say 75

So i couldnt get through the whole video, it was just too painful...

However, from what i did see, it seems this guy wants to do the least amount of maintenance and planning as possible, while doing things on a whim...

When he talked about decorating his tanks and said “do i have to plan my tanks before i add water” spoke volumes to me...

Then the feeding part i was like okay im done... since he obviously doesnt really know what the hell he actually wants from his fish, or maybe he likes the look of oscars but doesnt really like their personality which is why he also stated that he’ll buy them then regret the purchase knowing full well what hes getting into...
When I had my oscars I intentionally put in decorations for him to move around and stuff because that makes them happy.

14inches in a 55? Poor bastard. That's not doing fine that's a prison sentence.

This guy makes tons of fish care and profile videos on fish he's never actually kept lol
That's kind of a double edged sword. I've never kept an mbu puffer because I can't house one properly. I know quite a lot about them though.
A lot of people have kept fish that they certainly shouldn't, does not make them more experienced or educated fish keepers, just poor ones with no self control or regard for the fish.
