So, i've been all round the houses on what to do for my next upgrade. Glass, way too heavy. Acrylic, way too expensive. A plywood build was looking firm favourite until I saw some fibreglass tanks with a viewing window. They are drillable for filtration, a lot lighter than glass and cheap as chips compared to acrylic. A 300g is £675. Granted, they are not exactly beautiful but this will be going in my fish room, not the living room. I don't want it sat on the floor so i'll be building a stand for it.
I know the pentair tanks are quite popular, this is very very similar, if not identical to a pentair. Just wondering if any of you guys have fibreglass tanks and maybe forewarn me of potential problems, if any, with this type of set up.

. The one i'm getting comes in 3 sizes, 200g, 300g and 575g. The 575g tank is only £1050 but that size is a little too big for the space I have alloted so it's the 300g for me. Plus i'm led to believe they're pretty much bullet proof. And yes, my one and only real concern is that the viewing panels are small. But I think that's the only real downside.
