Apparently some of the spoiled brat players don't like being paid their millions by "owners".The owners will henceforth be known as governors of their teams or something silly like that.

What about the word "player"? Sounds kinda pejorative. Like it's not a real profession.
Do they really need "guards"? That evokes a certain image of brutality and oppression.
