Looking for Plastic PVC Gate Valve Suggestions

10% of the King Bros buyers reported leaks. Their quality control is suspect.

I tried 2 of these garbage valves. Do not skimp and buy one of these.

I didn't want to fork over the money for a spears and went with a ball valve. Took a few minutes to dial in my beananimal, but it's been running perfectly for about 6 months now.

As the title states, I'm wondering if anyone could make a recommendation for a 1" PVC gate valve for my sump. I've been irresponsibly relying on a ball valve for the last almost 2 years now and would really like to get this off my very belated to do list.

I've seen a few on obscure sites here and there but many look to be cheaply made and if I can get someone with personal experience vouching for one it would help make the decision a lot easier. Also, would a metal gate valve be acceptable? I was curious if it could in any way eventually cause harm to the system.

I just realized i have one. If you pay shipping you can have it. Its 3 inches but can work by using reducers down to the size of your plumbing
