I really like the bamboo trellis. After seeing yours, I am considering making a living bamboo trellis. They sell some really nice $$$ bamboo at the LFS, but I've never messed with the stuff.

Ohhhh . . . Sailor's delite! I love to sail, but hate living by the sea. Strictly a freshwater guy these days.

Yeah I use bamboo for a lot of my projects. Not always fish tank related. Gives things a more "earthy/natural" look.
