Also quite surprised that the loss of one from the pack didn't change the dynamics of the group much.
No change....they're still jerks.
Only noticeable dynamics is my wallet for fish food.

Mine have torn fins almost all the time, but that could be because of the alternate day feeding schedule I follow.
The growth rate has pretty much flatlined after 14-15". How is your group doing??
Feeding followed by weekly water change.

Was out of town for a month. So glad the system was simply enough for my son with no fish keeping experience to do two water changes for me while I was gone.
