here a 5-6 inch fish will sell for 40-50 bucks ppl crazy about red devils n flowerhorns
 
i have a few options to move the fry,just need to work on how much and how fast i can produce it.prolly not gonna make a killing at it but not expecting to,if anything i just want to make back some of my investment,n some money for food/meds

Lol when they were still with the parents yeah. They eventually got moved to the 30g so they weren't eaten by the parents. But instead of getting eaten by the parents they decided to eat each other instead. Ended up only selling 70ish out of the 300ish fry I had so roughly a bit more then ⅔ got eaten by the other siblings.
 
i do know if i can get these flowerhorns in tip top condition thats gonna be my money maker since nobody out here has them and if they do they are crazy expensive
 
like a decent but not great quality flowerhorn here will still be like 80-120 bucks

yea im kinda hoping the weak get weeded out that way so i dont end up having to do it

Yeah ik I was lucky if I even got $5-6 per 2-3in fish when I sold most of mine. Only had the one time I managed to sell only 2 fish for $50 which that made me happy atleast.

Jeez where do you live then? That's way higher then any that I see for sale around here. Most I see for sale around here are usually around $10-20 for a fish roughly 3-5in.

yea flowerhorns here are for sure not common.basically if u sell anything that u cant buy at the big chains you'll make a profit except if u try and breed big stuff like dovii or umbee
