Not at all. Overcrowding reduces aggression. Remember however filtration, water changes, and feeding must correspond to this amount of fish. We change about 150 gallons every 2 weeks plus dual FX6 filters, UV sterilizer, and 3 automatic feeders.Do you think they might be stressed with the lack of room? Serious question though, because I'm considering overcrowding my tank... But i'm concerned about the fish's stress levels
It’s a custom tank built by glass cages to fit into the wall. The tank and filters are in the storage room and the glass is wall behind the bar we have. That's a really unusual setup. I love the concept!
About 165 fish total.how Many fish are in there? Looks great.

265 gallons with 165 fish.I was wondering that myself. Title says 265 first post says 165. I'd like to know for sure. Is there only the one view? Either way I like what I see.
Dense is exactly what we were going for. Some species are already fully grown while others like the frontosa will more than double in size. This is how they are in the wild in densely populated groups thus my tank mimics that. As I mentioned substantial water changes and dual FX6 filters plus 3 daily feedings are required to maintain this many fish.Pretty but dense. Overcrowding to manage aggression is good with 12 males in a 48" tank if you have compatible species. This model also allows the fish to have room to show you some natural behavior...as much as can be possible in a glass box.
