Btw rhizome plants are tied or glued to hardscape. You can't bury the rhizome or the plant will melt with no water circulation around it.

No it's fine, I meant they can't have the rhizome buried. Apparently they don't taste good and they can't be uprooted bc they are tied or glued to hardscape. Some ppl use rubber bands and cut them when the plant takes hold.
