I had a second WC sen arrive about 30 minutes ago and it’s almost dead, the water smelled foul so I made a small tub with fresh water and a bubbler, it’s improved a little but is still very weak and close to dying, Any ideas other than what I’m doing on how to improve it’s survival chances?

It’s was shipped Monday afternoon and was on the truck today from about 10am -7p, the temp here is about 60f

Only suggestion I have is lower the water level so the Senegal doesn't struggle to go up for air.
+1. Gotta wait it out and see if it can recover. Reduce stress.

dang, sorry bud....

She’s improved some, no longer floaing upside down or with her tail floating while her head is down, she’s able to keep herself stable, so I moved her to a hospital tank, I think if she’s still alive in the morning, she’ll make it, which would be a miracle since I thought she was DOA, I was about to dispose of her when I noticed a pectoral fin move slightly. If she makes it I’ll post a vid

Great to know the Senegal is doing better.
