lol, yep

has heard my complaints about my Trimac male. Super shy at 10”+ and I feel like there are definitely physiological issues involved. I felt as if the 75g was too small so I upgraded to a 90g and it helped a bit. Added large decor for it to hide behind if it felt threatened, again it helped a little. Addeded a temporary tankmate/target fish helped a little.
But these things I still deal with. The tank is in a low traffic area (garage) and the fish gets startled when I come in. I must turn on the light so the fish can see me or else the movements in the shadows freaks it out.
Anyway here is my current shy fish

Mymain tank is a 300g in my living room. It has a high amount of traffic and I have never had a shy fish in it. They see people all the time and always are outgoing.
